WHITNEY MUSEUM EXCLUSIVE WORKS
ZAUN is an interdisciplinary artist who works and lives amongst New York City, Seoul, and London. They studied Fine Art in Seoul National University, KR and Logic and Philosophy of Language in Alfred University, New York. In their work, ZAUN applies a logical system to the visual practice. Creating Lego blocks with intaglio printmaking on mulberry paper, they connect and play with individual Legos and free floating embroidery in order to render the void visible. Since 2013, they have exhibited internationally and appeared in The New Yorker Magazine, The New York Times, Art Critical, among others.
