detailed image of Cloudscape
In my work, “Cloudscape,” the subject is the shifting void, which is forever in an unstable state as to whether it is complete or incomplete. I strive to reveal the invisible void by surrounding it with ephemeral constructs of clouds and air, which are in simultaneous movement and stillness, firmness and flux. It is a process-based work, composed with never-finished buildings of Lego blocks, cut-out openings, and stitched threads.
